..more of a WIP without the intent of doing more to it...........I guess u could say its an experiment......................??
This was a sketch from b4, but i was trying some new coloring meathod. Though its not the kewlest thing in the world....I can say that I'm satisfied with the results, cept for the low quality of the scan. but oh well........I think its the start of something beautiful! booyah!

You can probably work on getting the tips of the flames to taper off a little, instead of them just looking like you took your mouse and smudged it upward. Maybe choose one light source and stick with it, or just have the fire be the light source (meaning don't highlight the legs like there's something off to the side that's brighter). Pretty good though, for an experiment. If you look through your coloring software there sould be something where you can adjust the contrast of the scan, so that those grey spots get translated into white. Scanning's tricky, I think -- you just have to figure out how to tinker with your scanner settings and eventually you can get it.
